Try a new way to get your story onto the screen!

We understand how difficult it is to get somebody to take a chance on your story. For that matter, we understand how difficult it is to get somebody to even read your story.

Well, that day is over…if you don’t mind taking a detour from screenwriting and writing your story as a comic.

Platinum Studios has a program for reaching out to screenwriters just like you, writers who’ve come up against one too many closed doors and want to get their stories read in a manner closest to what you originally intended.

Here’s the first and most important thing for you to remember: We’re not looking for stories that have been shown or shopped around town; we’re looking for the next stories you intend to write.

The truth is that a story that’s been shown or shopped around town, by the very weight of its travels, is just too hard for us to set up. We have much better with success with work that’s pitched to us before it’s even been written…and it’s our goal to help you achieve your original vision.

Comics is the way to go!

We are most interested in seeing the stories you have to tell. If we have a passion for your story, it doesn’t matter that you may have never worked in comics. We have a trained professional staff that can offer all the tools you’ll need to work effectively in the comics medium.

What's Platinum Studios hoping to accomplish?

Platinum Studios is a film and TV production company that bases all its projects on comics. Part of their reason for being is the creation of a stable of interesting concepts that can be translated into other media. The goal of this set of stories is the creation of interesting and lasting characters introduced in the context of one story but with the potential to outlive their first appearance.
